About Eden
I'm John Russell Ernest the creator of Eden. I have developed Eden in response to many needs that I see in the computing arena. I began programming in 1993 at the age of 13 at a gifted program at Texas Tech, and since then I have worked in American corporations including Citi, Washington Mutual, JP Morgan Chase, Fannie Mae, Bell Helicopter, TracyLocke, and other industries including medical, forensics, insurance, and logistics. In March of 2015 I was part of a team that won an AT&T Hackathon contest that month. I was also a Closed Beta Tester and Home Community Volunteer for Playstation Home on the Sony PS3. While working as an analyst and programmer for Washington Mutual I realized the need for GPU accelerated statistics visualization, while at Bell Helicopter I developed one of the world's first Object Relational Mapping frameworks. I started learning C# on my own during college and began learning Unity3D programming in 2012. Since then I've released a few apps and games on the Google Play Store. I realized that in many of the fields that I worked in many concepts in information systems could be cross-leveraged to create a product that benefits consumers, and that's what I hope to achieve ultimately with Eden is a strong platform for helping people with all of their day to day personal and family needs.
